Introduction
Landen Brown is an emerging wing prospect making an impact at Middleburg High School in Middleburg, Florida. Standing at 6’5” as part of the Class of 2027, Brown brings size, athleticism, and versatility to the court. As a shooting guard/wing, he has already shown flashes of his potential and continues to develop into a well-rounded player capable of competing at the next level.

Background
Brown's basketball journey began later than most of his peers. He has only been playing the sport for a few years now. After his team lost in the championship game in 8th grade, he began taking basketball more seriously. Since then, he has been focused on closing the gap and elevating his game through consistent work.
Development
Brown’s growth has been fueled by his commitment to development. This past season, he started every game he played on varsity and had a productive season despite injuries that forced him to miss a few games. His training routine involves a strong focus on individual work, getting up extra shots after practice, as well as on weekends. In the offseason, he balances workouts, travel basketball, and recovery, making sure he continues to improve while staying prepared physically. His ability to stay disciplined in his routine reflects a player serious about reaching his full potential.
Influences
Brown credits his early development to his 8th-grade coach, Coach Parker, who believed in him and gave him the confidence to showcase his abilities. His father has also played a pivotal role in his development, consistently supporting him and creating opportunities, including getting him involved in exposure events like the High School All-American Showcase. Brown draws inspiration from players like Kevin Durant for his calm demeanor and scoring ability, as well as college standouts like Isaiah Evans from Duke and Paul McNeil Jr. from NC State, whose games he studies as he continues to grow.
Goals
Looking ahead, Brown wants to play college basketball. He would love to play at a Division I school, but is open to opportunities at Division II and III schools. Schools like Florida State, UCF, and Maryland stand out to him due to their strong programs and competitive culture. Over the next year, his goals are to receive an official college offer and connect with college coaches. On the court, Brown wants to improve his ball-handling and passing, as he sees himself transitioning more into a guard role. His biggest strength remains his ability to run the floor and score in transition, using his size and athleticism to his advantage.
Closing
In March, Brown competed at the High School All-American Showcase in Baltimore, Maryland, where he gained valuable exposure and insight from college coaches. He adapted quickly to new teammates and displayed his athleticism and overall impact. He also received valuable advice on what it takes to succeed at the next level, becoming stronger, tougher, and mentally prepared. With his rapid development, work ethic, and willingness to learn, Landen Brown is steadily turning potential into production as he works toward the next stage of his basketball journey.
